Colonel Tim Patrick retired from the Marines after 29 years of service in 2017 as the Commanding Officer of Marine Aircraft Group 41 in Fort Worth, Texas. He joined Two Blue Aces as a Senior Consultant in 2018.
Tim enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve as an Assault Amphibian Crew Chief. He was mobilized and deployed as a Corporal during Desert Storm in 1990. Following this, he was commissioned, completed flight training and designated a Naval Aviator as a KC-130 pilot. He led at the Detachment, Squadron and Group levels.
He also served as a Branch Chief on both the Joint Staff Global Force Management Branch and Headquarters Marine Corps Resource Analysis Branch. He and his wife Laura returned to Lakeland, Florida after a contract flight instructor position in support of the Kuwait Air Force.
He is an Aircraft Commander and Instructor with over 4,900 hours. He has flown in support of combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Tim is active with the South Lakeland Rotary Club and is a member of Elk’s Lodge 1291.
